The Brandenburg Festival is delighted to welcome Luminosa for their first performance with us.

They will be singing the exquisite Requiem setting by Duruflé alongside other works.

The concert is going to be an exciting departure from the norm, as select movements of the Duruflé Requiem will be accompanied postgraduate dancers from Trinity College Laban. Subtle and complementary in nature, this addition to the performance will bring a fresh reimagining of the work for the audiences - they will be able to see and hear the interplay between music and physical movement within the beauteous space that is Holy Sepulchre.

Luminosa Voices is part of the Luminosa group of choirs which has established itself as a force to be reckoned with in the choral world, lead by their dynamic conductor Rebekah Abbott. They are an 80 strong choir based in North East Hampshire committed to delivering a diverse programme of choral repertoire ranging from much loved sacred and liturgical repertoire through to Opera, 20th Century Art Music and diverse concerts encompassing World Music and Jazz. The name Luminosa means ‘Radiant and Bright’, which encompasses their focus on hard work and positivity.
