Regular Brandenburg visitors The Ionian Singers return.
Their highly regarded conductor Tim Salter and harpist Isabel Marie Eberhardt, present a brilliant programme titled “from Darkness to Light,” featuring a brooding dark motet by Brahms, a vision of heavenly delight by Byrd, a Lament by Seiber and Salter’s setting of words of hope from Emily Dickinson.
Isabel Marie Eberhardt will also play the colourful Ballade Fantastique by French composer and harpist Henriette Renié.
