Established in 2016, London Sound Project are a bunch of like-minded people who get together with a pro band performing a wonderful mixed bag of contemporary songs, with bespoke arrangements just for the group. They are an all-inclusive choir with a vast mix of abilities and ages. Singing skills are broad and for many this is the first choir they have joined. Right now they have around 35 members.
They have sang at informal street parties, hosted workshops at the Unicorn children's theatre for the next generation of budding singers and performed at numerous gigs, raising money for local charities including British Red Cross London Fire Relief Fund and Camden Music Trust.
In this performance you'll hear a selection of some London Sound Project favourites through to more quirky artists such as Sigur Ros (who sing in an invented language called Hopelandic). You're in for a memorable magical experience, with an eclectic repertoire that will get your feet tapping!
