The Choir of Pembroke College, Cambridge

Founded some fifty years ago by enterprising undergraduates, Pembroke Choir now occupy an important place in the musical life of the College. Under the direction of the College Organ Scholars, the choir sing music from all corners of the choral tradition – recent repertoire has included not only Tallis, Byrd and Stanford, but also Walton, Gorecki and Rachmaninoff. The choir also tour to exciting destinations – recently Krakow, Paris, Tallinn and Milan. They have also recorded a CD, Locus Iste.
This concert will last approximately one hour, without an interval.
