Brandenburg Sunday Series — Offbeat Choir

  • Holy Trinity Church Prince Consort Road London SW7 2BA United Kingdom (map)

Come and enjoy a feast of a cappella sounds served up by Richmond’s Offbeat Choir. Take some great old favourites – Imagine by John Lennon and Autumn Leaves by Johnny Mercer – and soak in some lovely four-part harmonies. Then add dynamic versions of well-loved traditional African, European and American folk songs with a twist (such as Baba Yetu, Vem Kan Segla and Sylvie). Finally, season with new takes on contemporary songs such as Peter Gabriel’s The Book of Love and Coldplay’s Viva la Vida. Offbeat will stir it up gently, and you can just sit back and enjoy the wonderful music!

The Cherry Pie Choir then serves up a slice of American pie featuring a selection of songs centered around the USA including New York, New York, Good Morning Baltimore, Oklahama, Empire State of Mind, California Dreamin', and Walking in Memphis.
