Press Release

2014 Autumn Series and Money&Co.

Nicola Horlick, CEO of Money&Co. supporting Brandenburg’s Autumn Series

Now in its sixth year, the Festival has grown exponentially to around 100 events annually, presenting a huge range of musical styles - choral favourites, a cappella classics, jazz, barbershop, and gospel choirs.

The heart of the Festival remains artistically, spiritually and geographically at the acoustically stunning St. Martin’s-in-the-Fields. Satellite concerts will be performed in some beautiful venues:

St. Botolph-without-Bishopsgate; St. Sepulchre-without-Newgate; the Gresham Centre; Hinde Street Methodist Church; Temple Church; the characterful Cheshire Cheese pub; and The Royal Courts of Justice. A jazz night can be enjoyed in the crypt at St. Martin's on 5 November.

The Series also features two resident orchestras, the Brandenburg Sinfonia and Brandenburg Baroque Soloists, and is supported by Suzi Digby OBE as Associate Music Director for 2014.

Bob Porter, Artistic Director, said "I am absolutely delighted by the success of our Spring Series earlier this year and this Autumn is likely to prove to be just as diverse and entertaining. As always, we will have something to appeal to all musical tastes - traditional choral repertoire and our ever-popular Fringe nights at a 'secret venue' in the heart of London's West End to hear some terrific, young a cappella groups performing jazz, pop, and barbershop in a very relaxed and informal setting."

Nicola Horlick, CEO of Money&Co. and sponsor of the event, said: “I thoroughly enjoy the variety of music that Brandenburg Festival provides and the line-up for this year’s Autumn Series looks fantastic. I am delighted to be involved in what should be another superb event.”
