BRANDENBURG BAROQUE SOLOISTS PLAY #WREN300 CELEBRATIONS
On Friday 12 May, Brandenburg’s Baroque Soloists joined Trinity Laban Choir at the Chapel of St Peter and St Paul, Greenwich.
This truly wonderful evening was hosted by the Old Royal Naval College, starting with drinks in the Queen Mary Undercroft before the event at 6.30 in the Chapel.
We played Purcell's My heart is Inditing, Handel's Organ Concerto Op 4 no. 1 in G minor, Purcell's Dido’s Lament from Dido and Aeneas, and Handel's Dixit Dominus, all as part of the #Wren300.festival of Christopher Wren memorial concerts.
The usual "no photography" rules were turned around when everyone in the audience and orchestra were invited to take photos at the exact same time for sharing on social media.
What a fun way to start the concert!
