After several years of co-ordinating concerts and Come & Sing days in London, in 2016 we teamed up with the wonderful Voyages to Antiquity to present an all new Come & Sing experience — at sea! The cruises so far have been such a success that in 2019 we are offering not one but two cruises. Not only are we running our annual summer voyage with Voyages to Antiquity, but in the spring we have teamed up with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines for a shorter trip even closer to home.
Our Spring Cruise will take place from May 1 – May 6 2019. Starting and finishing in Southampton (so no flying!) we sail to Amsterdam and Antwerp with fascinating visits and loads of singing in the five day trip, returning just in time for the final two concerts of the Spring Series of the Brandenburg Choral Festival of London.
Voyages to Antiquity is one of the classiest cruise companies around, and the 350-passenger MV Aegean Odyssey makes the perfect home for the Brandenburg Come and Sing at Sea project. With fine wining and dining, cultural visits in most ports of call and choral workshops every day, this is indeed an award-winning cruising experience.
Features of each cruise will include:
Award-winning cruise experience by Voyages to Antiquity
Singing workshops every day
Bespoke repertoire selected by participants
Final concert performance
Special Brandenburg social events
Directed by Brandenburg Artistic Director, Bob Porter
If you have any questions, or would like to go ahead with a booking, please contact Bob Porter, Brandenburg Artistic Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org. There will be a special code word to take advantage of the Brandenburg elements of both cruises, so please make sure you contact him first!

The CHORAL cruise summer
Rouen to Lisbon, August 14 – August 28, 2019
No cruise to the great rivers of France would be complete without a trip along one of the most romantic waterways in the world, the Seine, taking you inland to Rouen, the capital of Normandy, for an opportunity to enjoy a day out in romantic Paris, the City of Lights.
Stroll through the coastal port of Honfleur and sail the Loire to Montoir-de-Bretagne, for a scenic ride into the heart of Chateaux Country. Follow the trail of Garonne through the glorious Gironde countryside to Bordeaux, then learn more about the art of winemaking before tasting some of the region’s great vintages.
In the Spanish province of Galicia, explore the pilgrimage site of Santiago de Compostela, then in Portuguese Oporto visit the cathedral or a nearby wine estate. Finally, spend two nights in the capital of Lisbon, giving you the opportunity to fully experience this captivating city and the idyllic scenery surrounding it.
