Fauré Requiem VIP Discussion Day

  • Holy Sepulchre London Holborn Viaduct London, England United Kingdom (map)

Join highly experienced choral directors Bob Porter and David Wordsworth in a closely tutored day introducing the Fauré Requiem and other works in a relaxed and approachable way.

No music experience necessary – this small group day will give you a glimpse behind the curtain to understand why and how the performance is prepared.

November 4th 2024 is the 100-year anniversary of Fauré's death. To mark this special date we will be performing his iconic Requiem setting twice. In Holy Sepulchre, London on November 2nd and in his own church l'Eglise de la Madeleine in Paris on November 5th. The Brandenburg Festival Chorus will be conducted by a real Brandenburg regular - David Wordsworth.
