London International Gospel Choir evolved from the award-winning London Youth Gospel Choir, and has become a strong social network — ideal for those who want to sing and make new friends.
The choir is non-auditioned, but gives members the chance to work on vocal, theoretical and performance skills, with help from the music team. There are also opportunities for solo singing and working in small groups.
We sing secular and spiritual music in a gospel style — rich in harmony and full of movement and expression. Our repertoire features music by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Whitney Houston, Kirk Franklin and Kurt Carr, along with songs from shows such as Jesus Christ Superstar, and films including The Preacher’s Wife and of course Sister Act.
