ABOUT THE PERFORMERS

The Brandenburg Singers is a handpicked choir made up of some of London's finest amateur and semi-professional voices. They come together for several events throughout each Series of the Brandenburg Choral Festival of London, singing repertoire from Bach to Britten and Handel to Howard Goodall. They perform both a cappella, with keyboard accompaniment and with their partner ensembles Brandenburg Sinfonia and Brandenburg Baroque Soloists.

Artistic Director Robert Porter founded the Brandenburg Choral Festival in 2009 to bring the finest amateur and professional choirs to some of London's most beautiful churches. He regularly conducts the festival's resident ensembles, Brandenburg Singers, Festival Chorus and Sinfonia, and leads come-and-sing workshops as part of the London festival, and last year on the inaugural Brandenburg Cruise.
