Fauré Requiem

We welcome this exciting new chamber choir from Manchester, Northern Cantate, and its conductor James Kealey,  for their festival debut. This concert, exploring the themes of "War and Peace" will feature music by some of Britain's wartime composers, Howells, Stanford, Parry and Ireland. After the interval we will be treated to a performance of Fauré's beautiful and ever-popular Requiem.
