ABOUT THE PERFORMERS

Worcester College Chapel Mixed Choir is made up of undergraduate and graduate members of Oxford University, and sings twice per week in the College Chapel during term time. In addition to its regular commitments the mixed choir enjoys undertaking regular concert performances both in Oxford and elsewhere. Recent highlights have included performances at St. Martin in the Fields, St. Johns’ Smith Square, and at the Queen’s Chapel of the Savoy. The choir enjoys performing a wide range of repertoire, including pieces which are not regularly sung, and is known for its dedication to contemporary music, with frequent performances and recordings of works by living composers, and the launch of a new carol composition competition for young composers in 2015. The choir has recently toured to Italy and has several CD releases to its name: a new CD of early twentieth Century English Music planned.
