Our final Fringe for the Autumn, and we’re back at base in our favourite secret club for one more late night of fabulous Fringe fun.
Fringe Club Nights are fun, sociable events, where it is definitely ok to have a drink and a good time.
For our late night club nights at our secret venue this season we have a later start - 9pm - and two fantastic a cappella acts poised to entertain you, and close the season in style: we are delighted to welcome back two of our Fringe favourites, Absolute Harmony (Hardcore Harmony), and ICU The Scopes!
Membership of the Fringe Club costs just £10 for the evening – get yours today!
Royal Holloway’s very own mixed a cappella choir, Absolute Harmony, has been bringing music to London and Surrey since 1997. Singing a wide range of old, new, popular and unknown tracks, they are best known for bouncy mash-ups and powerful pop songs. As a university based choir, members are always changing as people graduate, with a record number of 80 members last year. For 2015, they bring many fresh faces who have never sung a cappella before mixed with seasoned members who’ve been hooked from day one. Each year a new committee and new musical directors are nominated to take over, along with many members leaving and new ones joining. They’re never the same choir twice! Absolute Harmony are known for being un-auditioned, laid back and social, along with their smaller, more focused and auditioned choir Hardcore Harmony - who will be performing this evening. With graduation performances, award ceremonies, open days and even a wedding under their belts, Absolute Harmony are a choir consistently gaining experience, improving and above all having fun.
