Choral Cruises

After several years of co-ordinating concerts and Come & Sing days in London, in 2016 we teamed up with Voyages to Antiquity to present an all new Come & Sing experience — at sea!

Further details about the 2018 cruise are listed below. And you can find out about more about the maiden voyage on our 2016 cruise page — and read a commentary from the Daily Mail.

Come and Sing – at Sea!

Following the triumph of the inaugural Brandenburg Choral Cruise in May 2016, and our further successes in 2017 we are delighted to announce our 2018 cruise for enthusiastic choristers. The voyage will begin on the 8th May, 2018 in Piraeus, the port of Athens, and will make its way around the Peloponnese and along the Dalmatian coast, ending on the 18th May, 2018, in the splendours of Venice. The full itinerary and booking details are below.

Voyages to Antiquity is one of the classiest cruise companies around, and the 350-passenger MV Aegean Odyssey makes the perfect home for the Brandenburg Come and Sing at Sea project. With fine wining and dining, cultural visits in most ports of call and choral workshops every day, this is indeed an award-winning cruising experience.

Features of each cruise will include:

  • Award-winning cruise experience by Voyages to Antiquity
  • Singing workshops every day
  • Bespoke repertoire selected by participants
  • Final concert performance
  • Special Brandenburg social events
  • Directed by Brandenburg Artistic Director, Bob Porter

Any questions, or to go ahead with a booking, please contact Bob Porter, Brandenburg Artistic Director, at bob@brandenburg.org.uk. There will be a special code word to take advantage of the Brandenburg elements of the cruise, so please make sure you contact him first!
