Ave Verum Corpus

  • The Temple Church Temple London, EC4Y 7BB United Kingdom (map)

Mozart’s celebrated Ave verum provides the focus of a programme that combines well-known choral classics with exciting finds drawn from less familiar corners of the repertory. Mozart is also a featured composer for solos by the amazing French soprano, Roselyne Martel-Bonnal, who will sing his Laudate Dominum and Alleluia (from Exsultate Jubilate). The concert ends with Charles Wood’s brilliant setting for double choir of the Phos hilaron, Hail, gladdening light, which serves as a College anthem for Oriel Chapel Choir.
