Hardcore Harmony is an auditioned a capella choir from Royal Holloway University of London. The choir is made up of roughly eighteen members from a variety of degrees and ages who come together once a week to practice intricate vocal arrangements. They perform in a number of events both on and off campus, including Strictly Come Holloway and Yule Ball. As well as this, they collaborate with other societies and choirs in events such as A Night at the Theatre. Last year, they recorded several of their arrangements to post on their YouTube page, in a professional recording studio - this was a great experience for the members, and helped them to grow both as singers and recording artists. Through every performance that they do, Hardcore Harmony’s members continue to demonstrate their talent, enthusiasm, and dedication to the choir.
The Cantabrigians is a group of professional female singers based in Cambridge, founded and directed by soprano Paula Downes. Many of the singers are former members of the National Youth Choir of Great Britain and ex-Cambridge Choral Scholars and have since performed with groups including The Sixteen, Philharmonia Voices, the BBC Daily Service Singers, I Fagiolini, the Tallis Scholars and The Hanover Band.
